I love Netflix especially now I have an unblocker meaning I can access the US version on a Mac (not sure you can hack the Tevo version on Virgin Media at the mo). I am currently 3/4 though watching the entire Star Trek Next Gen then its Voyager and Enterprise.
I have finally managed to get the US version on my ipad 4g but it involves using a VPN which is not free. I am using the Hide my Ass app and so far its been faultless.
If you use Unblock-Us then you can change the DNS on your router and it will work on all devices attached to your network.I have finally managed to get the US version on my ipad 4g but it involves using a VPN which is not free. I am using the Hide my Ass app and so far its been faultless.
The only way I have found is to use a VPN like Hide my Ass. It works really well but there is a small cost.

Started watching Lillehammer last night. Only on episode 2 so far but really enjoying it...
I'm onto Series 2 now. Surprisingly addictive. The only downside is that because it seems to be 50/50 Norwegian with subtitles/English spoken, you have to concentrate on watching it rather than having it on in the background whilst browsing Autotrader! There's a film called pawn shop chronicles on Netflix and its well worth a watch.
the only way I can describe it is like a deep south pulp fiction.
Its got loads of big name stars and is my favorite film of 2013 by quite a big margin.
Its several stories that are somehow intertwined by a ring found in a pawnshop and involves racist Meth addicts, one mans search for revenge, and a disillusional Elvis impersonator all taking place in a very strange small hick town.
Its a solid 9/10 from me.

I am looking at using unblock-us with my LG smart tv. My question is, on Netflix you get the US content with the unblocker, do you lose the English content? Or is the content made up of everything i have on my english subscription plus a load of extra stuff?
You have to switch between them but it takes 5 seconds on their website. JohnStitch said:

Have virgin broadband super hub and won't work on unblock-us according to their website.
Not even if you only change the DNS in the actual device on which you're using Netflix rather than in the hub itself?Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
