All this Mayhem
Great documentary about Aussie skateboarder brothers , don't google it or you'll find out how it ends, watch it as a drama, their lives were comprehensively videoed by mates over the years so it feels "real" ...cos it is !
Thanks for the heads up on this, would have ignored it otherwise, really strong documentaryGreat documentary about Aussie skateboarder brothers , don't google it or you'll find out how it ends, watch it as a drama, their lives were comprehensively videoed by mates over the years so it feels "real" ...cos it is !

Started watching the new season of orange is the new black yesterday, doesn't seem to have lost anything and there are some proper laugh out loud moments, highly recomended.
I was back on this the other day too. Really hardly watch a lot of TV, in fact only thing I've watched for weeks. Definitely worth it. Mr MXT said:

"Hot Girls Wanted"
Thought I'd watch it thinking it might be mildly titillating it was actually quite sad
I watched half of it, then turned it off, depressed.Thought I'd watch it thinking it might be mildly titillating it was actually quite sad
I have Netflix but was told about shush.se by a friend at the weekend. It has loads of series on that stream from your smart TV browser.
Load up the homepage, click the big image advertising any given series and it lists everything they have. It makes it easier to zoom out to 75% to see more on the screen at any one time.
Click what you want and it plays. All very simple and no adverts. It also has movies.
If it's box sets/series you want then there would be no need to have netflix in future.
N.B - I haven't tried it on a laptop etc.

Watched Guvnors on UK region last night - wasn't expecting much as I thought it would just be another cheap naff football hooligan film but really enjoyed it. It was about an old 'firm' being challenged by some young scrotes looking for some kudos on a hellhole estate in London, was well acted, and a good story...Not quite up there with Harry Brown but worth a watch

Conversely....Watched Guvnors the other day and turned it off after 20 minutes, thought it was cliche hell and the acting was terrible.
I've been on a bit of a documentary binge, watched and enjoyed Blackfish (Orcas in captivity) and The House I Live in (US war on drugs), thought both very good. Also rewatched Bowling for Columbine, so sad and the comparison of US vs Canada is interesting. Some entertaining moments, Michael Moore is still a massive scruffy bellend though.
