Did you ever catch her in "Hit & Miss"? I expected that to get another series or two.

I read earlier that Lilyhammer isn't being continued so series 3 was the last.
I liked Hit & Miss and was surprised when it got canned. It's available on boxed sets in the Sky box at the minute.

Another vote for Bloodline, just finished it, it got better and better all the way through.
Ben Mendelsohn is amazing.

Thanks to a recommendation in the Telegraph we just watched Blue Ruin on Netflix UK. Really, really good film. Thriller. Some action. Some blood. Well acted by an unknown cast and produced on a tiny budget. Recommended.

The Bates Motel is good - a modern day take on the back-story of Norman Bates from Physco.

If you can access foreign servers, Hannibal is worth a watch.

I've been told it's quite good, but I only lasted 20 minutes of that little brat going "Moommmmm!!! Moommmmmm!!" before turning it off laugh

Bored the other night so watched Pain & Gain for the second time, great film. Also just finishing up Orange Is The New Black season 3.

Hardy Bucks Movie - if you can understand the strong Irish accents, a decent enough comedy lad's movie.
A lot of the laughs come from the script though, and the accents are 'fierce strong' - Having lived with 6 people straight off the boat from Sligo when I first moved to London I was just about able to manage, but my wife didn't understand much at all.

Tried Blue Ruin last night, managed about 30 mins but it didn't grab me to be honest.

Bloodline - a convoluted tale of a family living in the Florida Keys.
Episode 1 bored me. Episode 2 caught my attention. Episode 3 had me hooked.
It looks fantastic, has actors you'll recognise, and I really like it.
Oh and It's got Chloe Sevigny in it.
Good recommendation. You have me utterly hooked on this and I have ploughed through it in the past few days.
Just gets better and better

I've seen the film, haven't seen the series yet. About 15 years ago, it was a film about the last day of a summer camp in the early 80's. Cast included Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Janeane Garafolo, David Hyde Pearce, Elizabeth Banks… a lot of them were not well known as they are now. The series on Netflix has got the gang back together, the series is about the first day of camp in the same year. But the actors are all 15 years older, so, bit weird hehe .

I have watched the film and series and it is definetely something new.

I liked it it is a piss take of 80's films, and I had a few laugh out loud momments.

It is worth a watch to see 40ish people acting as teenagers.

Well that ^^^^ would explain it a little better. Still, just did not find it amusing at all.
Yeah it is really weird, I have managed to get to episode 7 with it on in the background whilst I work. I can't imagine the actors would have been cheap but it has the feel of an American Pie spin off to it, not sure Netflix have invested wisely here. Saying that, there have been a couple of mildly humorous moments.

I wish I'd known this before I watched (currently on episode 6 and liking it) as it would have enhanced things - Netflix should have had the movie on there too so it all made a little bit more sense smile

I just checked and it's there along with a "making of" - I suspect it didn't fit into my usual viewing profile so I hadn't seen it in any of the lists and never thought to search for it because I didn't know it existed smile

'Let's Be Cops' is on Canada region - don't normally like these sort of films, but actually quite enjoyed this one. 2 friends dress as cops for fancy dress party, then find that people believe they are actual cops so make the most of being able to get people to do what they want, but then get themselves into a spot of bother with local mobsters. An easy 'brain out' film that gives a few laughs
