Check out The Unit. Special forces series starring Dennis Haysbert. Very good until series 4 when they tried to appeal to a more female demographic.

I've noticed there's lots of stuff popping up now that I want to see (or revisit). Spooks being one - class but it's quite old now and memories have long faded, so well worth a rewatch.

I also watched the first two Narcos last night - talk about excellent!! Nice to see Pedro Pascal on screen again, he was a real highlight in GoT.

Gonchi. Documentary film about a Uruguayan race driver. I had never heard of him, he was working his way up with the aim of F1. Some cracking driving shown in it, especially an amazing overtake on Montoya at Spa in the late 90s, I think it was a Formula 3000 race.

Sad ending but overall a very good documentary film IMO.

Saw that last night and put it in my list.

Watched 'Journey to Le Mans' last night - it's a documentary about Jota's 2014 LMP2 entry, going from the start of the season to the race itself.
It's not a fast paced action movie, but then you wouldn't expect that. Good interviews with the drivers and some great car footage though - not a bad way to spend 90 mins.

Please watch an episode.
On the strength of this, I watched the first two episodes the other day. I can't decide if I love it or hate it. I think I might need to watch a few more when drunk to see if that helps at all!

Added some anime/manga I see, I was able to revisit Ghost in the Shell. Anyone else have some good suggestions?

Attack on Titan

Full Metal Alchemist

Both still on there I think and very good, especially AoT.

Can anyone recommend a decent (safe) proxy server app for Android? The Netflix offering in the Netherlands is not very broad, so it would nice to be able to watch some of the things you are mentioning here.

I use Unblock.us on my Playstation, not free but works great and you can select any location, I switch between UK and US.

Not sure what's on there at the moment but I've watched a fair amount over the years.

Deathnote is a must if you haven't already watched it. Samurai Champloo, Hellsing, Elfen Lied - all favourites.

I don't think Initial D is on there unfortunately.

The Hungover Games.

It isn't a good movie. Don't expect it to make any sense. Have a few beers and turn it into a game.

Drink whenever you see boobs.
Drink whenever you see a character die.
Drink whenever you see a Johnny Depp character doing something Johnny Depp like.
Drink whenever you hear a pun being used as a character's name.
Drink whenever the news presenter isn't sitting in his chair.

I'll let you add your own.

Just watched Coherence (2013). Great independent film based on parallel universes / quantum physics / Schrodinger's Cat but all based around a dinner party with 8 guests set in LA. Very good acting, script and direction.

If you seen and liked Primer / Butterfly Effect / Run Lola Run / Sliding Doors / Triangle / Cube 2 etc you will love this.

Cowspiracy is a good watch, it's potentially guilt-inducing if you like meat (the more of this type of stuff I see on Netflix the more I question my love of the stuff and the possible benefits of being vegan) but makes some really solid points.

For now I'll live with the guilt.

It's called Memories of a WW2 Hero: Captain Browns Story.
