Circle, 2015 Film

Not bad, not a Cube but something different, gets a bit more engrossing later on, but a few Budget actors let it down, but worth a solid 7/10, worth a watch at least.

They've just released season 6 of Archer. That just gets better and better. Also they've added Still Game season 1 - 3. Bizarre that they only had season 4 & 5 of Still Game!!
I really like Still Game. Shug the big eared bloke is great. Plus a dead good fisherman.
I've been enjoying Still Game.
Tried Dreamland thanks to a recommendation on here but found it a bit tedious.

I really liked the concept of that film but it was limited by its budget and a bit of naff acting. Overall a watchable 6/10 smile

Just watched Kajaki. It's worth a watch but as said a bit clunky in places...try not to get annoyed by a Landy sounding like a big truck!

I noticed in the credits that Tug became a patron of Forgotten Heroes https://www.theforgottenheroes.org.uk/

Just finished Narcos series 1, great series, gets more and more watchable/addictive as the series goes on (I ended up watching the last 4 episodes back to back)!

Definitely no Cube, ending was a bit lame IMO.

If you like this type of film, Exam is also worth watching. At least the first 90 or minutes is. Last 10 mins let it down IMO.

Another one worth watching is Coherence.

The One I Love

Really cool mind bending romantic film that meets the plot of Primer and Coherence. Recommend!
Humm...wouldn't it be boring if we were all the same...

on Canadian Netflix.

time lapse about time travel, lower budget, not a hardcore time travel film, but good.

We watched this last night. It was OK, a film we could both watch (she's doesn't do much sci-fi I'm not keen on Romance & relationship stuff, this is an amalgam of both) so that's a plus, but wouldn't call it mind-bending. 6/10.

Started watching iZombie on US Netflix. Quite enjoying it so far.

Doctor becomes zombie, gets job in morgue, eats brains and uses flashes of the deceased's memory to solve their murder.
Sounds pretty rubbish, but put this on last night and quite enjoyed it. Am up to episode 4 now and so far so good
Bloody hell, they must be getting to the bottom of the list of how to form a detective show.

Next. Cherry and Bambo, a paraplegic detective who solves crimes by reading the clues in his psychic dog Bambo's turds.

Not really a hidden gem, but after seeing the advert for the final series of Peep Show I've started watching it from the start as I've only ever seen little bits of it.

It is bloody funny!

Is that the one in the minefield?
I didn't quite get the love for that film. I thought it was just a bit boring and seemed like it should have been a 15 minute slot in another film with a much more interesting storyline.
Sorry frown

I agree with you about Kajaki. I started watching it on Sunday and it didn't do a lot for me at all. I think I lasted about half way though.

Currently on (UK) Comedy Central on Sky/Virgin.

If you like Family Guy, American Dad or Bob's Burgers, then definitely give Archer a try (same people involved in BB).
