Started streaming today. Big Fish. One of my favourite films of all time. Beautifully shot, acted and directed and such a great storyline. Perfect for christmas

That movie pulls the water from my eyes and deposits it on my cheeks.

And you still won't read any of the small print before you agree to it smile

We need to talk about Kevin... Perhaps the ultimate feelgood film for a family Christmas afternoon, uplifting and inspiring.
Recommended.

Making a murderer.

10 hour documentary filmed over 10 years. Just when you thought your opinion of the U.S. justice system couldn't get any lower... your jaw will fall through the floor.

If you liked the recent Ch 4 '24 hours in custody' stuff, you'll love this... though it's a much slower burn. But with much bigger hits a few hours in.

Astonishing doesn't come close.

The SlingShot documentary about Dean Kamen in up, it focuses more on his SligShot water purification stuff than Segway etc but it's a really interesting glimpse into his hisory. It's also really hard not to like the guy when you see his house for the first time smile

It was a bit of a struggle to stick with it in places but I'm glad I did, if similar things interest anyone there's an excellent podcast called Serial that in a roundabout way follows a similar theme.

Seems there's a new netflix animated series called "F is for Family", first episode maybe just finding it's feet but beyond that so far it seems entertaining.

I'm 4 episodes into this and wow. Just wow. This is one of the most well put together documentaries I've ever seen. The fact that there's no narration or vice over, that its stitched together from film at the time, never seen anything like it before. Can't wait to see how it pans out

I couldn't get past the first episode, but I recognise that tastes vary.
