I daresay he is, but I'm still not going to watch any more. I've tried before watching a few more episodes of something I didn't fancy, and it's not worked out for me so far. True Detective would be a case in point. Watched several episodes before realising it wasn't going to get any better.

The first season of TD? I'm going to hazard a guess you stopped just before it got really fking good. I very nearly did. Final few episodes are the best tele I've ever seen.Bungleaio said:
Californication is quite entertaining to watch.
Originally watched this as it came out on regular tv, currently rewatching it from the start, some of the best tv ever filmed in my opinion. Also there are some roles that certain actors/actresses are just born to play (Robert Downey Junior playing Tony Stark in the avengers films) and David Duchovny is perfect as Hank Moody.Fas1975 said:

Making a murderer.
10 hour documentary filmed over 10 years. Just when you thought your opinion of the U.S. justice system couldn't get any lower... your jaw will fall through the floor.
If you liked the recent Ch 4 '24 hours in custody' stuff, you'll love this... though it's a much slower burn. But with much bigger hits a few hours in.
Astonishing doesn't come close.
I'm 4 episodes into this and wow. Just wow. This is one of the most well put together documentaries I've ever seen. The fact that there's no narration or vice over, that its stitched together from film at the time, never seen anything like it before. Can't wait to see how it pans out10 hour documentary filmed over 10 years.
