I've just binged watch season 1 on Netflix, I thought it was brilliant TV. The scenes with the IRA were particularly chilling. Imagine my horror when I realised there are only 6 episodes.
I couldn't get past the terrible accents, Sam Neill sounded more like like Harry Enfield's 'William Ulsterman'..."I MADE A LEGITIMATE REQUEST FOR CHEDDAR CHEESE AND PINEAPPLE ON A STICK!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxpYW_w5pgo

Isn't it on iplayer?
iPlayer never registers in my mind. It's probably bad luck but the few times I have tried to use it it's been pants. Good shout though I'll have a look tonight.

Misfits, Utopia. Plenty out there.

But Peaky Blinders has been the best thing on in years. Worth the licence fee alone. Cant wait for series 3
Never liked Misfits, Utopia was not bad though, What else is there?

This show is brilliant. Really enjoying it, on the last episode of season 2.
Accents aren't the best and hearing Helen McCrory's scouseness every episode cracks me up but I'm enjoying it for what it is, a bloody good gangster program.

I just finished watching the 2nd series a few nights back - loved it! I loved the music too, especially the PJ Harvey stuff in season 2. Plus, I fell in love with May, the posh horse trainer totty. smile

Loved it. Great start to series 3 especially the way the episode built towards the end.

It really is one of the best shows around.

The production is as good as ever this series, but (is it just me?) the script seems inpenetrable. I don't know what's going on half the time...?

This is pretty much how I describe it to people who haven't seen it: D

Great to see Paddy Considine in the new series. Some pretty good acting talent mixed with gripping stories, brilliant cinematography, dark subjects, stylised violence and a great soundtrack. What’s not to love about this show?

I think Paddy & co are going to find that making the sort of threat they did against a man like that will end badly.

And that's before we get to how things will kick off after that little incident at the end of the episode.

Stumbled across this flicking channels on Thursday night, I'd never seen or even heard of PB before. Agree with all the positive comments posted before. It's the best thing I've seen on the TV in years. Just received the Bluray box set of seasons 1 & 2. No Netflix or Sky box sets around here, a firm media luddite!

Will catch up on all 12 episodes before next Thursday's show.

I hear that Breaking Bad show isn't bad either, I'll get around to that one day.... wink
