So retail £300k and they offer £200k?

Does that mean they will make £100k profit?
Doubt it. I reckon they'll sell it on to the trade for £250k, who'll then retail it for £300k.

Of course it does! Bloody rip off merchants. Notwithstanding the VAT, overheads, staff costs and that they are wholesaling it to the market etc. ...

Are you really that stupid?

Their end is around 5% after expenses.

So the supposed watch expert they brought in took the watches to an expert to appraise? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? All he had to do was open the back of that Chanel watch and see the Japanese movement in it.

That dog woman was crazy as and what's this about being able to walk into the shop and leave 30 mins later with £100k? We never see that, they're always hanging on to the items for a week and speaking to various people trying to work out if there's a value and a buyer.

Even if that Chanel watch had been genuine, and assuming that the fake did actually look something like the real thing, it was hideous. It's as if someone in a fashion house somewhere has actually gone to some lengths to make their product look like cheap market-stall tat.

It's a ceramic case... so it'll remain looking like new market stall crap for a good while.

Is it me or does the owner seem a bit 'phick' - is there a brain working in the shadows?

fk me - that tosser with the 3 million house lent his dad £15k and now wants it back, preferably with a bit of interest.
