Like the yellow submarine. Might look a tad daft in a swimming pool though.

Bit confused why you would take a 1/4 million pound necklace to a pawn shop opposed to getting it valued in a jewelry shop?

This redhead is going to take a fantastic diamond neckless, and throw it in the bin over a music career that just ain't going to happen!

Even worse is the flogging the diamond necklace for importing horses into the UK! Making money with horses is dam difficult!

The owner isn't called Shirley. Did you mean "surely"?

I managed to watch this, 4OD didn't have it. Gosh it's annoying having to sit through the whole show to find out the value of the items. It's definitely a bit different to 'Pawn Stars.'

That stupid horse bint took a massive haircut on a £250k necklace. She just saw the £ signs and ignored the fact she was getting shafted on the deal. The singer lady is crazy to take £50k for a £120k necklace too, let's face it - barely any of the people who pawn items actually go back to collect. They're just effectively selling the items at a discount, not many will repay (or even have the intention to.)

The pawnbrokers didn't seem to negotiate at all, which is a bit different to other shows. Perhaps it's more realistic of the way the business works.

£250k was the retail selling price.
How many others stores are going to offer her £120k cash there and then ? Not many I'd guess.

There will be different valuations for loans and buying outright I would imagine.

Especially when the UK (Tattersalls) is the place to buy horses!

That black guy who was hoping to sell a parchment (or whatever) to pay off the families debt of £10k and it was valued at £200 or something. hehe

His comment was "Oh well. It'll pay for a party"
Er, maybe that's why you're all in money troubles!?
