Just caught up with the finale on 5 last night. Decent ending that leaves lots of room to play with the character development next season.
Especially Nygma who is finally in the stages of snapping completely, Penguin doing less grovelling and taking more physical action than before. Could also be interesting with Barbara's storyline as i assume that could go many ways either via Arkham Asylum, joining one of the many criminal gangs, etc, after what she was up to.
Yep, ive really enjoyed Gotham, though as a fan of the Nolan Trilogy, I like to think it could mostly tie up - and the Barbara going nutzoid story jars a bit (being a homely wife in the films). Also the discovery of a secret area under Wayne manor (rather than just a cave) seems a worrying break with the Batman canon. But Nygma is brilliant - and the scene with him losing it was quite chilling actually. Penguin continues to be a brilliant character tooEspecially Nygma who is finally in the stages of snapping completely, Penguin doing less grovelling and taking more physical action than before. Great episode! Wonder how long till wait for next season!
Announcement said it returns "Autumn 2015" so I think C5 will be showing it pretty close to the US airing. Although that will also mean having to deal with the winter / spring breaks in the US rather than having all 22 episodes week after week.daddy cool said:

She isn't Barbara Gordon, she's Barbara Kean.
Barbara Gordon will be Jim's daughter at some point in the future.

Excepting that they're already in Gotham, not married and she's not pregnant, it's a perfect fit for that story line.http://www.comicvine.com/barbara-kean/4005-70561/
Isn't starting on C5 until next year so I think i'll be torrenting it.
Can't wait to see the progression of the Joker after his teaser in last season. It was a delicious mix of Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger's Jokers to me and that looks brilliant.
The Red Band S2 trailer looks brutal!
