It's all been done before and is very by the numbers, but it's worth watching for spader. He carries it.
I got bored of it very quickly in the end. Spader is good, but when they portray him as super-slick and the police/FBI as totally incompetent then you end up with a story that doesn't go anywhere. Plus they suffer from Lost syndrome, needlessly dragging the plot on by having characters not pass on important information for no apparent reason."Is my husband a terrorist?"
"I can't tell you right now"
"Are you my father? Did you know him? Did you kill him?"
"I can't tell you right now. But hey, tune in next week and I might!"

My thoughts entirely, they have come up with a good plot idea but are dragging it out as there will be nowhere to go once things are answered (eg. as in 'Heroes') and they are brave enough to decide that the story's Beginning-Middle-End will last a set number of episodes and they'll plod along until the show is cancelled without the punchline being revealed.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
