Definitely a new guilty pleasure for me is Gogglebox!

Last night's was hilarious, loving the Siddiqi family - 'what do you think would happen if a massive X actually crashed into the planet'?

This week was ace.

More uncomfortable watching them watching the old chap whose wife had just died than watching the original.

Steph and Dom saved the day with "I'll not let you get to that state love. First time you st yourself I'll chuck you out of the window. "

But the sheer numptyism on the Hammond programme. Is he up there? The ladder would be too wobbly. His hair is blowing.

Ffs!

Or the guy who can't understand why " the planet is round, yet everywhere is flat"

WTF, Priceless.

What I find a bit strange is how these people act.

In a normal fly on wall thing it comes out months later and people can then see themselves acting like prats or that they are fat gits with no dress sense or whatever. But it's too late by then as all the footage in the can.

But these people inside a week can watch themselves talking bks and go straight out and do it all again. There are exceptions. I suspect the old teachers June and Leon he is definitely on a wind up most of the time.

Once again the range of opinions expressed and stupidity of the great British public amazes me.

As someone who watched QT, seeing the positive responses to the utterly abysmal performance of Anna Soubry caused me to be staggered at the crass and shallow nature of some of the comments. As a nation we are fked.

Nice to see a bit of respect at the Rememberance services.

Finally how much takeaway?

Forgot to mention.

Do C4 read this thread? One of the captions which popped up in the ads before the programme made the same mistake as the title of this thread.

It's Gogglebox not Googlebox.

Extrapolating the highly edited experience of half a dozen people selected for their entertainment value into the whole of the British public & making a judgement from that makes you an ideal candidate to be on it. Have you thought about applying?

Watched this on 4OD last night with the OH - was not convinced, but glad I stuck with it - I could not stop laughing at the posh drunks.

The non-glasses gay though - has he mistaken a tin of Ronseal for face cream?

Forgotten about that. hehe

Not being a devotee of X-you've-got-factor-me-out-of-here had not taken much notice of Knickerless Skatslinger apart from seeing her simpering in Hamilton's pit garage at some point and thus didn't get a PH hatred. All a bit meh.

After that clip, Christ what an irritating bint.

Wasn't the 747 that nose dived in Afghanistan (?) a cargo plane with very few people on board?
