Walking Dead Series 4 - spoilers will get their brains eaten
Discussion
IGN are reporting that "going to see a hell of a lot more of Andrew J West, Alanna Masterson and Christian Serratos in AMC's massively popular show". The Andrew lad is the leader of Terminus, so that gives weight to the view that this is the new woodburry and he is the new governor.

Terminus will last most, if not all of the next season, if past storylines are anything to go by - no doubt we'll have an episode each of some of the Terminus peoples' back story/flashbacks and all the light (read-boring/plodding) drama that comes with it......
My undying quest for creativity and and enduring yearning for satisfaction and the construction of phantasmagorial narratives of wonder to become completely submerged into hopes you're wrong...My practical sensibilities and knowledge of history knows your right... I think I will try really hard and NOT watch any of the next season - just record it and watch all at once so I can FF the bulk..I mean slower parts....
ETA - I re-watched my BR copy of Season One again last week, and it is so much better/tighter than what comes after - it's up there with the best of any TV series.

What have we discovered that we didn't know before about the outbreak or an outcome for the characters? All we learned is that there is a guy that apparently knows of a cure... in FIVE hours.
I haven't read them, but apparently in the comic books he's full of BS and is just saying that to get protectionHalb said:

ive not read the books but think its pretty obvious though with regards to the spoiler
Maybe to you, but obviously not to those in this thread who discuss it.It's only politeness.

NOt sure what more I can do besides put a spoiler tag right after mentioning the book, which would indicate said spoiler relates to it?
You've done more than most! I have discussed things from different media (of a far advanced storyline) before, I've just made sure that people know it's not a normal spoiler of that episode or whatever.
I've done sort of the below.
Book spoiler of advanced storylines below
You were fairly warned!

I quite like the idea of reading the books/comics. Any advice on which ones to go with? Are there different series? are the comics different to books?
Do it. Just buy the hardcovers, they are up to 9 now I think.http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Walking-Dead-Book-Bk/d...
There is only one series of comic books. There is a spin-off of novels dealing with the rise of the Governor, I have not read them.
The books are dark/grim, seriously. Way more than the show. That's the main difference, otherwise it's the same basically.
Cheers - book one ordered - looking forward to getting into it.
I've never really done the comic book thing and the only graphic novel I've read was Watchmen - so will see how I get on.
As it says in the description, if I don't get on with it, I can always use it to bash in the brains of biters...
