Just watched the first 5 minutes and it's simply a straight remake of The Bridge. Seems little point watching it if you've seen that.

Anyone know if it is a complete re-make of The Bridge? It seems very similar so far, but Hopefully I've forgotten the plot twists.

I never saw The Bridge, but managed to catch this. Really enjoyed it. Good cast and liking the small injections of humour.

No spoilers please smile

Same here. Just watched the first episode and impressed so far. Has the feel of something like State of Play, which is always a good thing.

The Tunnel and The Bridge are both remakes of Bron, apparently. I've only seen The Tunnel so far.

The Bridge is the original (Bron/broen are swedish/danish for bridge). The Tunnel is a remake, just set in kent/france

I think it's fair to say The Bridge is a remake too, as it's not set in Sweden/ Denmark like Bron.

Maybe we are discussing different things. This is The Bridge http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bridge_(2013_TV_s... I'm referencing. Not the one based in Sweden/Denmark, i.e the original.

Right did not realise there had been an American remake. I have only seen the original, which is brilliant. Series two is on bbc 4 soon

These Nordic countries really do nail quailty books and they appear to translate to TV very well.

Have recorded this, lots of the filming done locally a few months back. It's sounding quite good from what people have said.
