Seemed to almost have an old-school 80s/90s feel to it - to the point that it was no surprise when Rik Mayall appeared with a typically Mayall-esque performance. (No worse for that though- good to see Rick back & he was always an obvious choice for Davies' Dad!);
I enjoyed it.

I'd ride that until it fell off at the hinge!!

Looks like it could be a good series. The Taylor was very amusing just wondering what else Ive seen him in.

I didn't enjoy it as much as some of you lot it seems!

Some of the comedy seemed a bit forced for me, I don't know if the script isn't that good or the actors are not delivering it properly. And it seemed a bit quiet too, could've benefited with some low level music at some parts.

Just my opinion.

The only decent moment was Ricks appearance!

I'll give it a couple more weeks.

All filmed around Camberley / Sandhurst, Greg Davis was apparently a drama teacher there in a previous life.

We watched this and couldn't work out if we liked it or not, a few bits were laugh out loud such as the Taylor but the story seemed odd. We will give it another episode though smile

I was hoping for a sort of Mr. Gilbert spin-off, but I enjoyed it all the same.
