"Shakira, would you be interested in seeing a video of my new baby?"

"Would you be interested in seeing one of me pissing in a bin?"

It's a real disappointment for me. It's lost its way and gone too surreal to be properly funny imo.

Jumped the shark for me too. It started out that he was a largely normal guy with a freak family and friends, trying to get through life but being held back by his family/friends and bad luck. He played a fairly sardonic role.

Now he's become a fruitcake simpleton.

Just catching up with this and agree...no where near as funny as previous series.

That said having randomly met Stephane Cole at a Castle Coombe track day I wouldn’t be surprised if she drove the monster truck in the last episode.laugh

Yes. That was what made it so good originally. Still enjoyed the last episode though. I really didn't see Daddy coming.

Agree, this series hasn’t been as good overall. Still some great moments though.

The move from unlucky/could try harder into simpleton hasn’t been great.

Last episode though was great. Clearly set apart from other episodes. Based/referencing on a film, but can’t put my finger on it, anyone?

Just discovered this and did series 1 of which the highlight was the school play - brilliant. I started series 2 where Riks sadly passed away and the will reading was amusing.

Worth a look if you’ve not caught it - advert free on Netflix.
