I'm based in NYC and all they do is roast sprouts, normally with some bacon, have to say, they are far more edible roasted than boiled!

He was in the wrong position. He shat himself at finishing up. Should have had the level headed girl with the annoying voice to come on last.

Yeah - we had some in Gelso & Grand, do them all the time at home now - big difference.

I've always enjoyed my baby cabbages the conventional way but, looks as if I'll have to give the oven a go at it.

no idea what the point of the Navy ship was.

1) The sailors dont give a rats ass about poncy ballotines and would have far rather had a big portion of fish and chips and a jam rolypoly
2) why cook in tents in the pissing rain on the bow of the ship when the ship has a massive kitchen of its own - which would have provided an interesting insight into how it caters for the crew
3) why did the ship task count towards the cook off but not the previous day's relay race?

Me too. There's far too much padding in the later programmes. Watching them cook in the studio kitchen either doing their own thing or the standard invention tests, is so much more interesting than all these episodes where they do all this convoluted bullst.

As demonstrated by the fact that so many of them said "it was nice, but a bit small"!

I wonder what was going on with the judging last night. The blue team did an atrocious job on Monday, and then in last night's show they actually said the blue team would've collapsed without Jane's hard work. So why, then, did they win??

Anyway, I wish Annie would be out soon, she's really annoying me now. But I suspect she'll make it to the final.

The highly strung woman deserved to go last night. The invention test that she did was awful.

Is there something cute about her? The deconstructed fish pie lady.

Fish pie lady should have walked - no idea about why they gave victory to the Blue team though, about the only thing that they got right that the Reds didn't was portion control and they got so many other things wrong compare to the Red team.

As for Annie - She's got the whole Bjork thing going on lookswise.

...and tasted divine according to Gregg. No real surprises to who went out this evening as she'd been struggling these past couple of shows.

And another. When these episodes are on, we tend to fast-forward most of it!

Would be interesting to know what experience or training some of these people have had. They seem to be able to produce food which is way above the abilities of the average good home cook in terms of both taste and presentation. Don't think they learn it just from a few weeks in this competition.
