Reading online an interview with Palin, he turned down the opportunity for the reforming in 1999 not because of inner arguments or hatred to others but because he felt it wouldn't be the same without Graham who was a central character to many sketches. But now with technology as it is he can appear in sketches they don't fill in themselves.

Anyone see the Morecambe and Wise bit with Tubby off the radio on last years Children in Need, perhaps they might do something similar, projecting Graham in a sketch? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9nR49U0yRU

Will be interesting to see how this progresses, most of them hate each other but are so broke from divorce etc that they need the cash.
They said on the One Show they had £800k in legal costs to pay, so that probably explains the new found enthusiasm...

Well that was a wasted morning trying to part with a vast sum of money for a rubbish seat in the gods at the O2.

Anyone here get hold of a ticket?

Nope.

Tickets for the first night sold out in 43 seconds. So it was nice of the O2 site to not be updated and make you think tickets were available for the next hour .... Seetickets site made out that tickets were available, and then at least says "no tickets available" when you try to drill down on a date.

And within minutes of tickets being "made available", they were being sold for a massive markup on getmein.com Which is a TicketMaster site. Gosh. If I were so inclined I'd say that something dubious was going on.

I'm in. Four tickets for the first show. One of which will make the perfect birthday present for my Dad.

Apparently they've also sold out instantly.

...or more accurately had access to the tickets transferred to getmein.com along with a 300% mark up.

At least the pythons were upfront when they said it was all about the money.

Yup, they were honest.

But it did appear up front as though there was a chance of getting tickets. Whereas in reality, the system is so corrupt that its makes it virtually impossible for a normal human to get tickets. Some were definitely lucky, others not so.

That's more than bit annoying. I was hoping that I could have had the ultimate day off as it might be that the FoS was going to be the same Friday. frown

Now I'll have just have to listen to Chris Evans wk himself off over how fabulous it all was.
No luck for The Toad then. frown

Thursday for me, although I think we're in the rafters for about 80 odd quid. Bit of a pisstake when they tried to make out the tickets would be reasonably priced. Don't understand the need to lie either about the 5 dates only being 1. I don't mind paying good money for a one off but 5 nights is not a one off.
