It's being broadcast live tonight at 7pm. On 'Gold' I think, and lots of cinemas.

Brilliant, but I missed the first 30 minutes as the box didn't record (user error)

As they are saying now, it's repeated at 9pm Tues (I think) without the censoring of the pre-9pm first half so you can see it properly then anyway smile

Went with brother last night to the O2 to see it, amazing show and definitely very, very funny. Great to see everyone coming out at the end.

That was good -- although the BBC probably got most of the money: all the TV clips shown.

Probably not, the Silly Olympics and German vs Greek philosophers were from the German Python series they did and then redubbed for Live at the Hollywood Bowl. And I'm sure Gilliam has control over his animation too.

Was really enjoying this but for some reason my Sky box finished recording before the programme ended. Will watch the repeat tomorrow on Gold to see what I missed.

It over-ran a bit (by about 20 minutes at least) and they didn't change the EPG so when the programme on the EPG switched to Fawlty Towers at 10:10pm it would have stopped even though Fawlty Towers didn't start until about 10:40pm.

£105 to watch routines I knew by heart (even though they are a much-loved part of my life) was something I baulked at. Even the busker at North Greenwich station doing a bad 'Galaxy Song' didn't tempt me, although I felt a twinge of amusement at some of the t-shirts I saw on thursday and friday (NG is on my weekday commute home).
On Friday SWMO was invited to spend the Saturday/ Sunday in Norfolk but I was to remain to care for the hounds which left me at a loose end for Sat eve. Long story short - Block 403 for £45 off Gumtree (lots of other tickets going that were unlikely to be moved on). First half of show spent in the very last row (though at the stage end of the arena) and felt decidedly 'dis-connected' although bits of the show were still wonderful. A large empty block of seats on the lower tier opposite caught my eye, so I moved there for part 2| (along with 4 Dutch guys who'd had the same idea) - much better but certainly not worth the full price these seats would have cost. I can only think the agencies that block book then re-sell at high prices caught a bit of a cold. Glad I saw it though, extra glad I hadn't paid more!
The extra verses to the Penis Song were side-splitting and Michael P's rant about Protestant's right to use condoms wonderful. Prof Brian being sideswiped by Stephen Hawking was a nice surprise. It was as well I hadn't read any reviews as I subsequently have found a number contained spoilers. Finally Carol C - Phwoar, I mean, you know, Phwoarrrr!

Watched the whole programme last night and it was worth seeing again. Loved the Greek vs German philosophers football match which I hadn't seen before and the incontinent marathon runners. Brian Cox and Stephen Hawking also very funny. Highlight though was the Spanish Inquisition. Always makes me laugh.
