Amazing, incredible, I might as well not bother having a shortlist of most anticipated films for 2014, because this is it by a long, long way. More than likely this will be my favourite movie of 2014 too.

What ferocity and menace, it didn't look like Godzilla was acting in Madiba's spirit of reconciliation.

I really liked Cloverfield too, there's a lot of potential for a sequel, with the story that Cloverfield was the scared baby monster, and Cloverfield 2 was going to be mama monster . But I think JJ Abrams is going to busy with Star Trek Wars for while now

And given that the last one was so shockingly bad that the Japanese washed their hands of it, and made the American Godzilla creature turn up in one of their later films to get it's ass whooped by Japanese Godzilla.
