Edge of Tomorrow - New Tom Cruise movie

My favourite type of sci-fi, time travel. This looks like its going to be a good movie, can't wait to see it in imax 3d.

Massive scale sci-fi with added Emily Blunt? This needs to be seen on the biggest cinema screen you can find! Not watched on a tablet from a dodgy pirate recording!!

Anyway, I watched Jerry Maguire again the other day and he is outstanding in that film. Sometimes a role just 'fits' him, a la Rainman or Top Gun. All films where he plays a flash git with an ego....

Those three and The Firm are my favorites of his.

..and his part in Magnollia, I think despite a small part a hugely powerful one....and a cracking/emotional film. (a solid 8.0 on IMDB)

I'm sad that off screen he's clearly a bit of dick...but on screen, he entertains, serious, funny, sci-fi, history... he just 'wins'....I liked Jack Reacher, alot, even after learning and reading about the Reacher intended by the author..

Nah, I'm talking about a dvdrip or some 720p rip. Camcorder jobs suck.

Sure, the large scale sci fi backdrop will be stunning, but otherwise it'll likely just be a Tom Cruise by the numbers scifi flick. And Emily Blunt really? She looks okay, but not quite the stunning vision that you're making her out to be (yes, I'm a grouchy sod today).

although I don't believe he did meet a good looking woman in WotW...

but he was a pretty good earth cleaner-upper, making an effective team, until he had a crisis....

New trailer makes for a film right up my street...

Has he/did he get off with Blunt, he normally uses his films as a vehicle to nail the next Ms Cruise....
Love him or hate him, you can't fault his MO..

Just back from seeing this and loved it. Much better than i thought it was going to be.
don't have any views on TC in general but he was excellent and not much can be said about Emily blunt apart from lovely...
