Looking forward to it, it's been a while since he filmed it.

That should be an interesting programme. I first heard about PQ17 in a footnote in Alistair MacLean's HMS Ulysses. As an ex-merchant seaman on the Arctic convoys, the circumstances behind PQ17 obviously made an impact on him.

Fantastic, loved the Major Cain VC and Raid on St. Nazaire programs (even bought the DVD) had heard there was another one in the pipeline, great that I know it'll be on soon.

The VC programme was utterly superb IMO and Clarkson's passion for the subject only improved it. Looking forward to this.

His programme on Brunel wad equally good.

Really looking forward to this - Clarkson is brilliant at fronting these sort of documentaries where he doesn't have to play up to his silly 'studio' persona. The VC and Greatest Raid programmes were fantastic smile

His program on Brunel for the Great Britons thing was also VERY good.

Looks interesting - my grandad was on the Arctic convoys and I'm ashamed to say I know very little about them.

I'm looking forward to it to. I have been reading lots about the North Atlantic recently and the U-boats so this is good timing.

Yes he does.
Makes a nice contrast to his noddy act on TG.
