Disappointed. Some good moments and clever jokes but overall I was let down. The trailer promised so much. Gibson plays a very convincing mad man biggrin

Typical Expendables film...... Proper macho stuff like the first 2, loads of guns, explosions and serious bullet dodging.

I streamed it via XBMC, very good copy

So ive seen it now and i dont know if it was the copy i saw but it seemed badly editted and chopped scenes out that would otherwise have made it flowed

such as
the bit where Mels locked in a room and they capture him, all i saw was him being locked in then the next scene is him in the back of the van

if this hastily chopped viewing i saw mean that a more 'violent' moviewill be released on BR?

Also, found Banderas to be annoying though enjoyed his action part though thought he maybe more badass lol

Agreed. I was hoping for a character in a similar tone to El Mariachi.

I thought he was parodying the cat from shrek.

I enjoyed the film great brain out action film with some great one lines and scenes linking to that previous actors films.

Ah okay, having not seen any films involving that cat I missed the possible link.

Segal is the only one that comes to mind, although seeing as he's a massive dick IRL and only does stuff where he's the central invincible killing machine that's unlikely

ETA - Carl Wethers and maybe Keith David

I thought this was the last one?

Also I enjoyed it but I thought the first two were good aswell if you take them for what they're supposed to be.

Glad Arnold had a bigger role.
