Is it really a 12A....aww, I was hoping for an enjoyable 80's romp, not a tween specced borefest.

The over the top violence and swearing is why the first one was good because it let us remember the ace films we grew up with.

Saw it last week - it was ok - but I didn't enjoy it as much as the other two.

Story seemed too disjointed, thought snipes would have had a bit more action - and the final fight was over far too quickly. The middle section of the film bogged it down too much. Felt like an origin story for a reboot.

I kinda wish they hadn't gone with younger actors just yet - still plenty of older action peeps around:

Clint Eastwood
Steven Seagal
Mr T
Kurt Russell
Carl Weathers
Richard Dean Anderson
Lee majors
Dwayne Johnson
Liam Neeson

Hell - even Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz could have been thrown in there somehow (for laughs) biggrin

And thats without even considering possible female roles for the likes of Sigourney Weaver, Angelina Jolie, Kate Beckinsale or Mila Jovovich.

A name not mentioned that would make the perfect baddies is Michael Keaton. Still the most psychotic actor Holywood has produced.
