I don't know how he does it, I know it's just tricks but it's great TV.

I agree, great show. Watching it with the OH and she hates magicians, always pointing out how she thinks it was done.

I, on the other hand, think that, real or (most likely) not, he is amazing at what he does. That water/kerosene trick at the end was awesome, lots of body control to spout the liquids like that

Nah man, standing on top of a pole (not someone from Poland, that is) this time, it was ground breaking.

Uri Geller and Paul Daniels are ok but my fave always been Ali Bongo until his extremist tenencies came to light.

Maybe The Great Soprendo too.

Uri Geller is a joke of a man. I love illusionists. Penn & Teller and James Randi are my heroes.

I don't love it when tricksters try to fool the masses into thinking they actually have paranormal abilities.

Why is it that when he does street magic on white folk they just look amazed and clap but black folk do back flips and run off hollering and screaming?

the thing that amazes me about blaine is the things he does that are actually real like holding his breath, or fasting for 40 days, sitting in an ice cube, etc etc etc

that said the other stuff is pretty freeky, im convinced hes just magic

Ricky Gervais went a very strange colour when DB started to push the kebab skewer through his arm. Thought he was going to faint and/or ralph!

Standing on top of a Pole for 35 hours would be much more impressive.

They're not real either!

I love all this stuff, not because I think they have magic powers but the design, engineering and execution are brilliant.

Saw David Copperfield do an up close set without any smoke and fancy music - a true talent.

Blaine's been tiresome with his on a pole, in a box, etc., but Mrs.5Pot and I both enjoyed last night's programme.
The trick with the cards at the Smith's with the iPhone picture was very cool . The stuff with him sticking skewers through his hand or arm were hurl

was really quite dissapointed - thought the Illusionists earlier on ITV was better !

always annoying when the camera persons' in on the illusion so putting the camera so viewer cannot see the important stuff like when pulling the crocodile/aligator out of the handbag (almost certainly was from under the table)
