I enjoyed last nights episode, all Brooker’s bits were good, the 90 seconds show captured Lovejoy perfectly, and I love Stanhope, even on the rare occasions he's not that funny his tag line still makes me laugh.

I think they should ditch the stupid people; Peas and Cunk, while they are occasionally funny and sometimes quite clever I just find the delivery irritating and a bit patronising. The evolution piece was cringe worthy, it was like watching the 11'O clock show. And please for the love of god, get rid of that Limmy thing.

I used to like it when there was a serious piece in the show, as it added a bit of balance and could make the show a little more worth while. For example; I remember a piece by an American journalist stating the differences around the rules of quoting sources for stores between the US and the UK. I think it was around the time stores started being leaked about terror suspects.

The current series just seems a bit dumbed down compared to what it was, although I did enjoy it (Limmy excepted).

I'd watch a whole episode just for one of his hilarious descriptions:

Mumford & Sons - Trust fund Worsels
George Galloway - half human, half pepperpot.
Paul Hollywood - Lase eyed barn owl.

And many more.
Indeed. I rather liked "pious newborn" to describe Owen Jones.

I think "Gogglebox" does a more entertaining job of looking back at the past week's TV now.

"Mechanical prime mini-droid David Camerabot..."

"Barking Obelisk Chris Moyles..."

I did enjoy 'like a slither of frozen piss nailed to a cabbage'

And Stanhope smashed it out of the park again.

NO! Barry stpeas is a God - he should be PM and also our chief negotiator (whether it's with the EU or UN or Iran it doesn't matter). That man alone is worth the licence fee (I don't pay)...

Stanhope I can take or leave - same old:same old.

Keep stpeas, lose Cunk. The whole 'what is money' piece was a waste of time tonight. And no Stanhope! Tonight, I is disappoint. Apart from that it was great hehe

Dissapointed to say the least.

No Hope, weak on dialogue and Limmy?

I haven't laughed once at Limmy. Maybe Limmy should investigate how he made it on to the show in the first place.

Caught the bit about the "missing plane live" programme. Jeez that was bad TV!

Excellent show tonight. Even the song at the end worked well. He had a lot of bad news to work with but back to his best.

Hopefully Weekly Wipe will be back soon.

Yearly wipe is my TV highlight of the year but 2014 was just a step above in quality.

I have never laughed so much as when he described

as the autopilot from Airplane

Back on form and then some. Easily the best program over the Christmas/new year period.
