It was a wonderful show and after 2014, im sure he could of made an episode depressing enough to promote suicide.

Just got round to watching the 2014 round up and thought it was fantastic. Very funny and poignant in places.

Brooker is an arse, and his mid-Winter offering was full of vitriol and cynicism. Unmissable.

There was a piece of classical music in this show; cello and piano.

Anyone help me identify it?

Russians by Sting, is the only orchestral music I can remember, although I think it was an oboe.

I'm slightly disappointed in myself for not really being aware of Adam Curtis until this. His blog makes for fascinating reading, I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Definitely not that! smile

It's a simple score with a three note rising scale.

Reminds me of Hans Zimmer's Soloman, be really grateful if anyone can identify it.... Driving me crazy.

Agreed.

He's starting to look properly knackered now. Is it the worry? Or children + Ms Huq (sic) wearing him down? Can't be the BBC workload...

Likewise. Would be very easy to go full on David Icke with some of the subject matter, but he doesn't come across that way.

CB probably puts Wipe together with his eyes closed.

Likely knackered due to the more serious work he did on Black Mirror for Channel 4 - that really was the best thing on over Christmas! If you like Mr Brooker you owe it to yourself to checkit out.

That was a very interesting part of the show - I'm going to check it out further.

I've nearly finished working my way through the four hours of "The Century Of The Self" documentary that he did, it's brilliant.

Haunting piece.
