Some of his stand up bits are excellent but some really aren't. I would love to see him live though and I listen to his podcast a lot.
I have seen him live and he was shockingly poor. Maybe it was an off night but it was really bad...

I loved that. Never thought to check out YouTube for it .

I think brass eye and the day today also owe vls a lot.
I'd completely forgotten about that, but it all came flooding back... especially the gay Daleks!

I used to be a fan, mostly on the basis of "No Refunds", but not seen or heard much since then that I've found especially funny - either shambolic and incoherent or just confrontational for the sake of it. Shame, as even though it was recycled, always enjoyed his appearances.

Wouldn't mind seeing someone like Steve Hughes given a turn, as he comes from sort of the same start point, but less out to deliberately shock.

And another. The Stanhope bits used to add to the show - Cunk and stpeas just get in the way and are given far too much airtime - very skippable.

The thing is Brooker himself is actually very funny and is the reason I imagine most watch the show - why he feels the need to have the others to dumb it down a bit I'm not sure.

Why do people get so angry about things they don't find funny? You might not like, it might not make you laugh but that doesn't actually make it st.

I thought Stanhope was awful, so I guess you can't please all the people...

I quite like Cunk and stpeas (in small doses, admittedly)

I love this show, though I have to admit if it was more CB and less all the filler, it'd be even better. Apart from Stanhope actually, he was good.

I fast forward through "moments of wonder" it's the same joke being done to death.

That guy who does "shows in 60 seconds" or whatever is funny though, cruelly accurate in most cases.

Jake Yapp.

His Russell Brand's 2014 in 2 Minutes 51 Seconds is damn near perfect.
