They'd have been marked down for that right away if I'd been the interviewer.

Nick's just put on Twitter that this'll be his last Apprentice. Wonder who'll take over?

Claude would be an excellent replacement.

He would be intimidating and probably not be able to keep his cool when out in the field!

...and he certainly doesn't have the facial expression repertoire that Nick has. Mind, give Claude a baseball bat and lets see how he performs when losing it. hehe

Nick is overrated - utterly crap on Countdown. Not to say he is band on The Apprentice - but don;t think he is aprtocularly brilliant - though he has had soem mausing moments.

Its easy for Claude to do what he does in his position - as Ricky showed us.

Unlike some years ago, I now struggle to enjoy watching this. Maybe the format has run its course. There again, the quality of the participants may be less entertaining now than in the past. Started watching then ten minutes in, wandered off and found something else to do. Long time since it had that "must see" attraction for me.

Its for the moments like finding the door out, that make it.
Does need a change though.

Total farce, if it's all about the business idea, then why the competition. They should be doing the checking up on the plan right from the off, then have the battles to win. How on earth was Roisin an accountant? how did she miss running out of money after 2 months. Knobjockey
Numbers aside, how the hell did she miss the fact that the "unique" product was already in the market? She really got her arse handed to her.

Perfect example of soneone who is extremely bright, but has NO clue at all about business. Bet she'll try and suck back her old job.

I could be wrong but it could be something like when she applied for the process it wasn't on the market..

The whole thing is absurd, it's a poor game show, pretending to possess gravitas by calling itself a process. 11 weeks of pointless poncing around weeding out the chancers only for the best of the lot to be thrown out at the 11th hour because of a crappy business plan that could & should have been examined in week one. She was strung along for weeks with never a hope at the end of it.
Precisely my thoughts. They might as well pick the finalists by getting them to complete the Total Wipeout course!

-Give me a phone call.

-I'm too busy for this call.

Why ask for a phone call then?
Exactly biggrin

- OK, I thought we had agreed a slot for the call but never mind, if you're busy then let's do it at a time to suit you.
- Right... now, can I confirm we've got 15 mins for this call?
