roisin or katie and mark look best for final

Agree with most of that except that, if he had got to interview stage, it's almost as if he was being rewarded for nobbish behaviour.

I know the programme has lost its way (somewhat) but he's nowhere near being one of the best 4. Keeping him in just because of his behaviour is sending out the wrong message (IMO).

However I'm completely ignoring the fact that TA has long since lost any credibility as a "business" programme, it's purely for entertainment, in which case I suppose he deserves to be kept in.

More as a mate than a business partner TBH
I saw enough of his treatment of Roisin this episode to realise that why he might pretend to be a cheeky chappy he has some nasty character traits.
No biggie - peopel seem to spend the entire show trying to undermine others and score points.

His reaction isn't the first or the last.

Also couldnt see the inital big deal in not telling the others about the hot tub failure - made total sense why you wouldn't tell them.

Anyone else think that Katie (I think its Katie - the lass from the north east) could go all the way on this one?
I've yet to meet a lass from the north east that wouldn't

Watched this for the first time in a long time and was disappointed to see it's just as cheerless as ever. Found myself praying for a laugh to relieve the nastiness. If someone with a sense of humour put in for it and treated the whole thing as a fun experience rather than a desperate battle to rubbish other people, they might just do well in it.

It is utter crap, and I wouldn't give any of the contestants the time of day, let alone a job. However, as long as they use my music, I'll suffer the tts. wink

Bit harsh I think. Katie, Rosin, Felipe definitely employable. Mark is 100% cut to to be a photocopier/office stationery / double glazing salesman. The rest of them.......meh smile

I can't believe there are still some (although clearly very few) people who take this remotely seriously as a 'process' to find a business partner.

Alan Sugar's net worth is around £700 million.

He could not care less about 250k, who wins, what business plan they may or may not have, and what happens to them afterwards. It's a vanity project for him pure and simple, I think he enjoys the program a lot, but only as a ego boosting exercise.

It's a TV program, not a quest to find a business partner. As it's nothing more than light entertainment James should have been kept in as he is entertaining, always made me laugh at least. No point pretending it's about finding the 'best' candidate.

Quite, Soloman will be lost now he hasn't got James to suck up to

The Aussie guy is a back stabbing little st and needs to go. Daniel needs to go because he is a hopeless whinger. Felipe and the other chap are a waste of time so that leaves the two girls and of the two Roison (sp?) is slightly easier to understand so will win.

Out of interest and without dragging this totally O/T, was watching some Breakfast TV this morning and the chaps who do a lot of the music for Dr Who were on - they seemed to be saying that they get the episodes on email and watch with no music and then compose accordingly? Is that really how these things work?

I guess one or two versions are done and returned to Director etc for further tweaking? Fascinating if that is treu? I would have thought the composer would be in watchign with the Director of that Ep and they would chat through ideas etc and then build a 'treatment' for the music which was then worked on in further meetings with Director and Producers?

It works in different ways. Sometimes you get pics and put music to it, sometimes you get a say in how the music will work and have a presence in the edit, sometimes you provide music and have no idea where it will end up.

In the first two you'll generally get a fee. In the latter you'll just get royalties.

I gave up the first two to live as far away from London as I could, so just get royalties.

Less fame, more freedom.
