The fact it totals a pitiful 12 episodes...........this is the killer blow
Nothing will be 24 episodes again the game has changed shorter series is the way to go now.
Crazy talk for a change...

Nobody will do 24 episodes real time?

Don't be silly.

Given that there have been a number of 24 series, can they really get any better, plots change, Jack always wins, even if he spends his vacation in Moscow, how can it improve dramatically?

Personally I enjoyed the plot, btw, I don't recall they actually retrieving the "Overide device" after the punch up on the boat, did I miss that bit?

Just off to the trades description office now, I want to know how 24 can be called 24 if it was actually a 12. biggrin

think they would have been better trying to condense 2 hours into each 1 hour episode.
The time jump on the last episode was a bit daft.

I'd have enjoyed seeing Jack get killed, perhaps shot a dozen times, staggering towards his foe and getting the final shot in before falling into a pool of blood...no beeps.

THEN

We can have a new 24! I propose Kate is our new eye candy special agent.

Anyone notice how all the non-US cars were debadged. They took all the badges off the Mercs, Audis etc - the grilles looked very odd.

But plenty of Jeeps and Chryslers with proud logos.

It was as if they were sponsoring the show... biggrin

wink

Normally they would just have all vehicles sponsored, but I have not seen an effort to block other brands to such an extent.

Mmm, maybe I'll buy a Jeep instead of an ML as Jack clearly prefers it.

You see it in lots of TV shows that come out of the US, cars with the badges fuzzed out so you can't tell the brand (even though your average American will know what they are anyway). I found it odd that the Mercedes badges were removed especially as they were "sponsoring" it or so the pre and post ad break adverts would have you beleive.
