The Xmas special was brilliant - loved the Phil Collins' hat stuff.

However, the first episode of this series was rather underwhelming.

Funny, I thought it was the other way round, Xmas special not special at all.

As an aside if you like this try digging out Toast of London, wonderfully stupid.

I enjoyed this weeks episode. The cupboard full of cups, Beef straddling the electric fence and repeatedly hitting his head on the roof, the magazine covers featuring big nosed men, Vic knocking Bob's toupee off as he entered the bistro!

Only bit I didn't like was Bosh. It's almost as if they couldn't be arsed to write any funny lines for him. Seems like a bit of a 1 dimensional character.

And Julie, the lovely Julie. Mmmm.

Erik is awesome, one of those characters that gets used just enough to make you want more, like Stewart and Barry from Big Bang Theory

No episode this week but has anyone got tickets for the small tour Reeves and Mortimer are doing at the end of the year? Got mine this morning, slightly crappy seats at the back of the Echo arena.

Meant to be doing a range of charchters from the last 25 years, so should be a good laugh.

I hope another channel commissions it instead.

One of the few things I actually watched as it was broadcast each week.

Unfortunately, there are not enough, I hesitate to use the word intelligent people, in the UK, maybe intellectiually appreciative would be a better description. You need a heightened sense of black humour and an understanding of irony and the absurd to even begin to get the programme.
It's a shame but I am sure the BBC will give us more quality TV like Orgasm Dancing and other such sh***.

Money saved to prop up pensions and keep their expenses going I guess.

It really would be great if another channel picked it up.

They scrapped Shooting Stars, saying it wasn't what they wanted for BBC2, so I was pleased when House of Fools emerged. However, it shows they have form for ditching Vic and Bob - and I think even wanted to axe House of Fools after the first series.
