Normally I can't stand Brand, but I found most of that report funny. Hopefully he's fallen off the wagon he was hilarious when he first appeared on MTV and was normally off his head

He claims he is pretty skint having blown his fortune on "being nice"

Amusing slant in the interview - it's almost as if the writer doesn't believe him

Like all celebs I simply don't want to hear their political views, moral directions and faux passionate cause de jure, be it Brand, Bono, Geldof, Clooney etc. They are minstrels, the job is to entertain and in this capacity I really like Russel Brand, his stand up and his observational shows I thought were very funny indeed and when he's on form he gives a great interview imo

Oh I also dislike his apologists/victims excuse for druggies who can't handle their drugs. Don't do drugs or do them and get on with it or do them and make a mess of your lives, I'm all for personal choice and personal responsibility but not banging on about it, he's an ex drug addict you know wink Oh you did.

I simply couldn't stand the tt. Everything from his stupid hair 'style', shenanigans on TV, to his pretend politics made my skin creep. He'll probably rise from the ashes (again) to grace our TV screens with more 'comedy' & suchlike, so he won't have to live 'hand to mouth' any more.

Aside from all of the above, the previously lovely Katy Perry will always be damaged goods in my mind, although I realise that on planet Earth, this is unlikely to ever be a practical problem for me.
