Topgear filming today at dunsfold nice F40/F50/Enzo and 308 being driven...
Precursor to the LaFerrari test I wonder?
Sure it was a 308 and not a 288 GTO?

The 308 seems a bit out of place in that company, not least for being the prettiest by far!

Indeed. In that company it has to be a 288 GTO surely.

Well done. You're an imbecile! hehe

NO ONE WANTS OLD 1980S TOP GEAR BACK!

Why can't the TG fanbois who cannot bear to hear criticism get this into their thick skulls! laugh

I want more of this!

The good stuff. Not the generally st stuff (there are moments that are great of course) they've become over the last 3-4 years

As one of the original presenters, it'd be nice to see Angela Rippon in SIARPC. smile

"Executive producer Andy Wilman said it had been a "joke referencing both the build quality of the bridge and the local Asian man who was crossing it".

A public apology, the whiners feel vindicated and the show goes on...

I have just listened to "World Have Your Say" on the World Service. Sad, I know.

Listeners (except one) from around the world phoned or tweeted in to say how dispicable Clarkson and Top Gear was for a racist remark.

Have I missed something or were they going on about this programme?

I have no idea what it was you listened to, never heard of it.

Where they perhaps talking about Didier Dogba, Jezzas new dog?

That's the point. No idea. I suspect they were talking about the bridge over the river Kwai programme but not sure as I came in late on the broadcast.

I'm stunned, does anyone actually believe it's all just point a camera at the world and shoot? It's entertainment and I still enjoy watching it in the same way my son knows WWE is staged but still likes to see the big fellas doing acrobatic moves and lifting other big fellas over their heads.

I happened to be in Liverpool on the day TG filmed a Pug hatchback in a race against some free runners. We watched James May drive the finishing straight several times whilst being filmed and the runners were nowhere to be seen. Imagine my shock horror when I saw the episode and it was another close call across the finish line!

I was going to post that item but then I noticed the date and didn't bother. But it's somehow been 'bumped' onto the BBC website's front page.
