The vampires, worms, etc body horror pales into insignificance compared to that PA woman getting off with Palmer hurl

Loved the first episode. Nice to know a bit more of the origin of the main baddie and his equals. I also thought the fx on his melted face was really cool.

This is my main horror series. Vampires over zombies. biggrin

Been binge watching this the last couple of nights as it's on the Sky Boxset download thing.

It's pretty good, I like the premise of what they are - it appeals to those who can accept pure fantasy and more cynical types (like me) a chance - there are some horrible parasites in the natural world that, if anything are worse than the things on The strain (if you're a fish or an insect).

The one thing that lets it down for me - the sets look good, the story is good, the actors are good - but The Master, looks st, I don't know what happened there, but I've seen more convincing monsters on 90s era Buffy.

I always think that. I watched one I hadn't heard of before last week, on some nature show. Horrific, some of the stuff that works on that level, truly horrific.

Just finished off Series 1 on Now TV. I quite enjoyed it, despite The Master reminding me of the clown from IT. I wonder when/if we'll get Series 2 on Now TV.

The second series is actually quite good and now being shown on Watch TV

The second series is much better than the first.

I couldn't disagree more. The first half of the first season is the best this'll have to offer.

I'll still watch this when the next season comes out but bits of this season really were gash.

I liked the look of the Master of how he is when he is introduced. This look is explained in S2.
I won't go further because not sure what you know or would like to know.

Almost forgot to mention, the kid in this is awful. I thought the one in The Walking Dead was irritating but this raises the bar.

I'd quite like to see the kid get bitten. He makes me wanna adopt the super annoying Coral in comparison.

Yeah, it's missing something, not sure what. Too much time spent on the kid and his mum, why they think the story needs it, who knows. Also the big baddie off screen too much, though the German is ace, as is this new third party.
Still the best horror drama currently on for me. TWD is second.

Have to say, really liked that finale. Hate that fking kid though, he should get his blood sucked.
Re-watched the last bit, thought he had cost somebody their life, but I can see how that might play out now.

And go, Stratachrian!

Got the last 2 episodes to watch. I thought this series started off quite poor but the last 6 or so episodes have been great!
