I thought it was pretty good, much better than the first series, sets it up nicely for the final series also.

Agreed on the kid.

Final series? I must have missed something somewhere. In story terms they're nowhere near the end - I think it was planned for 5 seasons and that would be compressing the story a little.

I assumed there were only 3 series as there are 3 books. I haven't read the books so don't know how closely the series is following the books.

Love this series although the sooner that kid bites the dust the better.

Season 3 should be starting on FX on 28 August. Looking forward to it (although the ending in the books annoyed the crap out of me, I still enjoyed getting there).

Superb. I don't trust Sky's Nevermiss series link to pick this up. Loved the first two series.

I'd actually forgotten that the ex had used her vampire trap on the new love interest.

This series is off to a good start so far. Although they've changed the music haven't they?

I like to The Strain in the beginning but after a few episodes it got ridiculous and stupid. I now watch Wayward Pines it's very creepy especially the introduction. It's a little bit too Studio but has it's right scary moments. And they're consistent overall different world feel to it.

THe Strain has really picked up inn S3 for me.

I liked WP and then lost interest..only for it to come back slightly and then peak (I thought), when S2 started I wasn't sure how it could continue...but then it quickly became far more interesting.

Where are you up to?

I am currently watching the 5th episode of the 2nd season. I have reached the point where the Abbys (sp?) learned to use fire and destroy their crops and then suddenly have disappeared.

What interested me about WP was that it still has obviously so much to reveal. The later eps are brilliant.

THis is still as fresh as S3E1.

Nice to see how the epidemic has pushed forward, the story has grown. It all happens in the prologue to the ep though. Can't see how this will move forward, which is a good thing!
