I quite enjoy the TF movies. I see them as light Sci-Fi comedy on a big budget (Although I admit not knowing anything about TF lore, never watched the cartoons....)

Got bored for most of the clip...another film based around fleshings?
The only way we would get another film that isn't based on fleshings would be for it to be animated. Hollywood/film business is nowhere near daring enough to film a live action flick without a main input of humans.

I would love to see a new version animated flick based on the original animated film.

It will never live upto the hype.

After all we can all imgaine the perfect film, but thats without budget restraints, pleased sponsors, and probably bending laws of physics during filming!

Not master peices, but enjoyable to just switch on and chill out too. great seeing them "interact" with real life scenery and thank the prime they use Optimus's voice actor!

I have a G1 Optimus in (most) of the box. I think Im missing his weapon, btu have the little rover and removable fists.

They really were well built back then!

A new trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jyck58pgiE

Toy figures for Dinobots. http://io9.com/first-look-at-more-new-dinobots-of-...

Slightly confused, because they are saying one of them is called Slog. There was a Dinobot called Slag, and it was a Triceratops, this is neither of those things. Snarl is still a Stegosaurus though.

Exactly.

A comment on that video on FB earlier pretty much sums it up.
"Michael Bay really knows how to grope my inner child."

New trailer looks good. Hopefully it will be a bit more serious/darker than the others and without the cheese. Anybody else watch the new films waiting for Optimus to die so that one of the other transformers, bumblebee maybe, turns into a prime and kicks ass?

Love Transformers, but cant stand Bays approach to these films.

Hoping this one is better.

Nolan should take over!

I believe there will be a dinobot triceratops - but it wont be called slag as it's too offensive (ignoring the fact that he was so named after metal slag, not viz fat slags)

There will also be a pterosaur - but with two heads???
