I believe there will be a dinobot triceratops - but it wont be called slag as it's too offensive (ignoring the fact that he was so named after metal slag, not viz fat slags)
I didn't know Yanks used the term 'slag'.

The film the airbender was funny though. biggrin

And I thought I was the only one childish enough to snigger at that!!

The dinobots look pretty damn awesome - personally I'm very glad Nolan isn't doing it...... 2 1/2 hours of miserable autobots getting beaten up and then naval gazing....count me out! wink

I've stopped watching all the clips and stuff... feels like you will have seen most of the good bits before getting to the cinema.

Saw it tonight, the cinema has some new Dolby system, the sound was very good. Watched it in 2D, I prefer that.

Anyway 9 out of 10 from me.

Also- DINOBOTS! :SPIN:

Currently a massive 17% on RT

Every review I've seen says it's the same old mess yet again. Also, 2 hours and 37 minutes long!?

Went to see it last night, probably the best indication I can give of it's quality is that even my 10 year old boy said it was "only OK, not that great".

I'm still not sure it was worth sitting through the entire movie just to see Optimus riding Grimlock. It's a 3 hour special effects demo, nothing more. Worst of the four movies by a long way. Stick with the trailers because there's little in the way of story, you're getting all of the best bits without the sore arse.

Friend works for paramount uk and has seen it.

It's very long - 2hrs 45 mins

And unfortunately the whole "America is great" "yee haa" "U S A - U S A" "America is the best" type stuff ruins it.

That's standard fare for a Michael Bay movie.

Apparently the US Army will only loan assets to films if they are painted in an unflinchingly glowing light.

I can believe it. Lone survivor is the same.

First couple were watchable. Third was utter trash. Won't be trying the fourth, judging by these comments.

To me, as someone who has never watched or was never interested in the animated series, I see the movies as nothing more than big, dumb and fun.

They are comedy sci-fi films for kids - what do you expect!

I seem to remember they wouldn't support Independence Day because it depicted Area 51 as a real location

Well I liked it.

HOT girl- Check.

Likeable lead actor- check.

Serious PH cars- check.

Dinobots- check.

My favourite character from the comic books- check.

I'm tempted to see it again, in IMAX...

The movies we deserve, not the ones we need right now.

I still want to go see it as been a transformers fan since I was 4, but almost 3 hours is madness.

Hopefully will be enjoyable fair, seen a few folk on facebook saying its enjoyable so id be happy with that.

Though I wasn't expecting Oscar worthy tbh.
