Transformers: Age of Extinction
Discussion
Saw this yesterday and I thought it was excellent. I didn't like "lucky charms" and I kept wondering what happened to Sam whiticky none the less mark whalberg carries the film just fine. Favourite transformer has to be lockdown purely because he transforms into a adventador. It would have been nice if some of the previous cast had made it into the film and the dinobots were a bit meh, but the film flew by for me. I actually wanted more, can't wait for the next 2 sequels.

Can anyone tell me what's happens at the beginning. I got in just as the daughter gets home greeted by the dog. I can't help but think I missed some sort of introduction.
Daughter is in a jeep with 3 other hot chicks, says they're two more weeks away from no more school, she then exits jeep, picks up post, realises she had been rejected for financial aid for university, collects rest of post and then walks to house to where you picked up. Just saw this myself,
bad bits?
yes it is immensely long, I, as a veteran of bollywood am used to over 3 hour long films, but this felt tiring.
That said I thought it was great, I love dark optimus, humans have taken the p*ss over the 5/6 years after Chicago and he no longer forgives their mistakes.
My only problem is why are the autobots always outnumbered, the underdogs? I never followed the cartoon, so all I have to go on is the movies which I think are great but yes, needs way more robot time and less human time. That said grimlock was not on screen for long enough

I tried watching that recently - The 80's rock soundtrack is so intrusive I ended up turning it off...007 VXR said:
Still not seen it My boy(7) wants to watch it after Xmas dinner .....
Be aware that there is swearing in it and there is a "skin stripping" scene in it which it totally unnecessary and overly graphic.Unless you're talking about "Transformers: The Movie", in which case, the only offensive part of that is the annoying soundtrack and the gratuitous killing of just about every Autobot.
