I'm looking forward to this, the first one was good and went a long way towards to making up for the dreadful trilogy that preceded it.

I kind of feel like I have seen most of this film now... going to stop watching all the new trailers.

Loved the first three.
Not seen the reboot.
Watched all the trailers after seeing one on the box, and seeing references to at least 5 bad guys, which seems like crazy overkill, seeing as Spidey-3's biggest problem was rushing two/three bad guys.
Electro is obviously the main one, and there is some super st 8 year-old version of a goblin, but Rhino? And references to Doc Ock and Vulture?
The Laundry sheriff line was good. biggrin

I will never forgive the Toby McGuire versions as they ruined Venom.

Rhino has been one of Spideys villains for a while and they are taking the look from the modern Ultimate Spider-Man series that has been running recently.

Again Green Goblin is a long time nemesis and the '8 year old' is Harry Osborn who is the same age as Peter Parker

I know who both Rhino and Green Goblin are. Harry wasn't the the original, and the actor looks 8, from the trailer it looks like a really st vague version of the New Goblin, like they had in Spider-Man 3. I'll withhold judgement of Rhino. It might be good, might not be. I like the original. The update of Electro seems to be OK.

Well, it's certainly better than the old Tobey Maguire films. Not as good as Captain America 2, but an enjoyable film nonetheless.

Surprised to see them kill off Gwen, though I'm guessing this will bring out a darker side to Spidey in the next film.

Rhino was a waste of time and frankly phoned in by Giamatti who is usually excellent.

Electro was ace. The doctor experimenting on him though, was just awful. Such a bad accent, he was like a Peter Serafinowicz character.

Green Goblin wasn't nearly scary enough, probably because I didn't care at all for the emo Harry character.
