Oh, not quite as good as appeared then... I thought £159 for a refurbished ABS pump with a life time warranty seemed like a *very* good deal.

I was quoted around £800 for an ABS pump when mine failed, so I just ran without ABS for the last few years of ownership. As a TVR owner I was used to not having ABS anyway.

I used to have a Mercedes W124, which fried the ECU after a coil failure. BBA Reman were excellent, in my experience.

Chalk and cheese compared to last week's show. Almost back to the good old days. I just wish they'd do away with the background music. It's intrusive and doesn't add anything positive imgo.

Really enjoyed last night's episode.

Surprised the engine sounded so sweet, the timing chains tend to be clattering their arse off by 140k miles, perhaps they'd already been done.

Lovely car though, I was thinking they might have used a bit of poetic license on the buying price, but it seems not!

That was one of the best episodes of the program I can remember. They bought a model that can easily be found by anybody that wants one and showed you how to fix its common problems. This is what every episode should be like (and used to be).
