Assuming that she's known by her initials... yes.

Quest is currently showing Season 4.

hehe

All you gotta do is throw a bucket of water over it Edd!

Plenty on an old TT. I'm guessing suspension work, electrics, Haldex & turbo stuff.

Or give a bit more power, modern wheels and fix one broken item.

If they are as prone to stereotyping as they were with the RX-7 build, they could camp it up.

Given how cheap the oldest ones are kind of pointless buying a clapped out one to try to save a few quid if you are lucky.

Remember the Boxster - a superb buy and great fix they should have sold it then double/triple/quadruple their money. Instead try to make it look newer than it is wasting money instead of buying new discs and pads....

Or, worse, the 911 Targa Tipropronic - the least desirable configuration as far as spirited driving is concerned - which they then fitted £3000-worth of custom track-oriented suspension to. They could have replaced the suspension like-for-like and saved a bundle as I am absolutely sure they did not put £3k+ onto the value of the car with that suspension.

Was an SIII iirc. With the V8. Not sure even WD would have the budget to do a proper S1 properly!

This episode was on Quest recently. It was a Series III "Stage 1" V8, that was already (very) yellow, and they converted it to LPG.

Very yellow. smile

Don't normally comment, but struth. Some deluded comments on here.

Its a TV show - yes they could make more profit doing things on the keep it simple rule, but it would not make it to TV!

They don't need to make a profit on any of the cars they build to carry on surviving to pay the bills...its a TV show and as Mike has mentioned on Twitter - he does things to show different approaches.

I get tired of pointing this out. Even when you do, they just come over the hill in greater numbers. It must be how the Wehrmacht felt in early 1945.

Well, they must be doing something right, because not only do I love it, but most of my friends and family, too - most of which aren't really into cars at all.

Most have only realised it's existence since being aired on Quest. One of my friends said that he actually makes sure he hurries home from his shift so he doesn't miss it on Quest, and I never thought of him as ever being interested in cars!

It's just two (seemingly) decent fellas doing what they do best, and it shows - no need for shouty faux-drama or silly pretend timetables, and it's all the better for it.
