One of the better episodes, not particularly a fan of the z1, but certainly interesting. A bloke at work has recently bought one, not seen it yet, only comes out on sunny days as I imagine they all do.

enjoyed the Z1 epi - really would like to own one (and it's not many bimmers I'd say that about). My favourite ep though has to be the Firebird one - purely selfish reasons in all honesty as I caught a second or 2 of my car trundling along (yeah yeah I know shallow etc lol)

I thought the Z1 show was a return to form.

Have they ever covered cleaning leather seats in detail - I want to have a go at cleaning the light grey ones in my E92 BMW but there seems to be so much conflicting advice on the net and they didn't say what they were using on the Z1 seats.

Yes, they have mentioned cleaning leather several times. They have done leather refurbishment, cleaning, re-connolising & repair, but they have never done dyeing (to my knowledge).

I have deep reservations that this won't wear through to the yellow in short order. For me, this was a bodge on an otherwise top quality restoration. I think that if they were spending £3,500 on a respray they should have spent the extra money for a proper re-upholstery of the seats rather than the dye job. But I suppose that the fact you can dye leather like that was quite interesting so made for better telly.

Yep, they come in handy...

Excellent episode tonight and a fitting tribute to the 100th car shown on WD... loved the mix of old & new engineering solutions.

Hope they do another 100 cars.

I really enjoyed this evening's episode, not really their usual fare but good to see them so obviously having fun. Also brought back memories of spectating on the London to Brighton as a Crawley kid.

Best episode of Wheeler Dealers ever for me. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Some proper engineering.

Fairly enjoyable television if you don't take it too seriously. I usually record it and watch it back to back with Fast and Loud, even the missus seems to enjoy it.

I echo the other comments, one of (if not the) best episodes so far. I was great to see them having such a fun time driving the car.

Totally agree. I loved the mix of my sort of engineering and 21st century engineering.

I wonder if I should ask on SP&L if it was legal for Edd to run along side the car to get up the hill smile.

Yep - I said this a few pages back...they've really nailed the format now.
Last nights show was thoroughly enjoyable viewing. Mike and Edd are great presenters.

When I seen the trailer for this weeks episode I was all set for not really enjoying it but I am with some of the others on here, great episode, really interesting to see the fixes for the wheels and the water pump, I think what made it even better was seeing them really enjoying the car AND there wasn't the whole buying & selling bits at the start & end of the show.

Loved Ed's outfit too!
