Just watched the 100th episode with the 1904 Darracq - what a great fun episode, looks like they really enjoyed themselves. Didn't think it would be my thing, but thought it was really good. I guess it's been on in the UK a whole back?

It'll be on about 15 thousand times a week for the next god know how many years. biggrin

Seriously though, its repeated multiple times tomorrow, Wednesday and Saturday according to my sky planner.

If I'm doing some work over the weekend, I usually stick on Discovery Turbo or similar for the day, as they (more often than not) air them throughout the day..

Am I correct in thinking that the whole of this new series is based in the USA. Sorry if I have not cottoned onto this.

Yes, MB explained the only way they could do more shows a year was split one series US and one in UK. He's said theyve already started buying the cars for the autumn uk series.

MB has said on his Facebook page that they can't film throughout the UK winter "because of the bad light".

Hmmm, I think he's using his trader's imagination a bit heavily there. More likely they've been offered a huge wedge of $$$$$$'s because the show is so popular in the US, but he doesn't want to get all the "why so many Yank motors" aggro that happened previously.

I wouldn't turn down the US money either, but don't expect the audience to swallow a whopper!

The only thing I would say about them doing a USA show based in the USA with a workshop in the USA is that they are now in direct competition with Fast n Loud. How long before Mike Brewer visits Gas Monkey Garage and invites Richard Rawlings to "owt ahhht yer aaaand" over a car?

I was surprised to see "6.5 Litres" on the GTO's badge. I thought that the US car manufacturers worked exclusively in cubic inches until recently (and that they spelled "litre" as "liter").
