I missed the first episode of this series but will catch up because the 12 days of Christine was stunning.

It cut very deep for me so I was in bits for quite a while afterwards. I don't think a TV show has ever done that to me before.
+1, and for the similar posts. Just watched the Sheridan Smith episode and don't mind admitting that it completely knocked me for six. There aren't many programmes that have commanded my total concentration for their entirety nor their ending (while half expecting it) have such an impact. The oft quoted ending to Blackadder Goes Forth and the finale to Life on Mars are the only things that I can think of at this moment that come close.

Stunning, just stunning.

The one with Sheridan Smith had more impact on me than anything I've ever seen on TV or at the cinema. Mainly for personal reasons, but I don't think that distracts from the fact that it was terrifically well done. The bit where she says "It's like my life flashing before me" really knocked me back. Likewise the bit where she says goodbye to her boy. I've watched it twice despite the fact that I got upset both times.

Just watched Cold Comfort, very good one. The split camera views was well done. I think its another one to watch again now that I know what happens. The 4 so far have all been good for different reasons, I hope they do another series after this one.

I liked that one, wasn't sure what was happening at first, then it kicked in. The half hour must have flown by because it seemed short (not a dwarf joke hehe ).

In The 12 Days Of Christine, there was a poster on the wall of her flat (to the left of the front door), the colour, shape and style of which I have a perfect spot for at home.

It was a burlesque type image, with the words "Leke" and "Schmikeltown" on it.

I've Googled those words (and a variety of alternative spellings) and got - literally - zero results.

Can anyone shed some light on that poster?

Well after eating my body weight in cheese then watching the inside number 9 Christmas special I think I'm going to be having some freaky dreams tonight!

Very clever as always! Brilliant recreation of a dodgy 70s tv play, bit weird having derek Jacobi as the narrator after getting used to him narrating "in the night garden"...

Watched it and recorded it to watch again. Very nicely done, it all looked 70's, down to the camera effect when it panned past the candles at the beginning. Shades of Garth Merenghi's Darkplace too (in a good way, not a rip off way). Looking forward to series 3 smile
