Is the reference to 'spotting the hare' a common theatrical expression or something unique to this thread, either way what is meant by it?
Somewhere on the set of every episode, there is an ornament of a hare. 'spotting the hare' is just an Inside No9 thing, seeing where in the episode we see the hare ornament.Series 7 on 2022, Mark Gatiss will be in an episode https://twitter.com/CBGActors/status/1438839826954...

I have to be honest - I didn't get the ending....
Had he been on the boat on his own all the way through? Or had the otherers survived and he had died....if so how did he die?
He died, probably lying next to the shrine where he fell asleep. Being on the rowing boat and bringing up the coin to pay him was 'paying the ferryman' and he heard his dead wife's voice. When he asked about the others and was told they were on the other side, he was dead, they were ok. That's how I took it and they say the same themselves in Inside Inside No.9 on BBC SoundsHad he been on the boat on his own all the way through? Or had the otherers survived and he had died....if so how did he die?

As usual I went online after watching the latest one (Nine Lives Kat) to check what had happened and get a better understanding of all the subtleties. Found a really good synopsis on Den of Geek which joined all the dots for me and pointed out things I’d never have noticed otherwise.
Said it before but my brain just doesn’t seem to quite work the right way to understand these fully but once it’s explained to me it all falls into place.
Still loving the series and always look forward to it; that was a great episode with some very clever details that I now understand

Looks like you both posted at the same time with each making the same recommendation.
Have never tried that podcast but will do now. Thanks very much to both
A coincidence perfectly befitting of I.N.9Looks like you both posted at the same time with each making the same recommendation.

The episode from the week before (welsh school / Wickerman) wasn't my favorite - however listening to the podcast after certainly improved it.
First, it's renewed for 2 more series, going up to series 9 https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/inside-no-9-re...
Second, bloody hell that was a dark creepy one. No idea where the hare was, unless it was Ferrari.

Christmas episode coming with Simon Callow and Shobna Gulati, and series 8 next year https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/comedy/inside-no-9-c...

I was genuinely disappointed we didn't have an on the buses, but last nights was a good alternative.
Was the bus one part of the gag ? (I saw it on the EPG earlier in the day) on iPlayer it just plays the Quiz show... I liked it, the quiz format, set, random celebrity presenter etc isn't that far from the real daytime quizzes . I haven't seen the 1% quiz that Lee Mack presents. I think watching the episode a second time I'd pick up on a lot more now that I know the setup.
I saw a post on twitter after I watched it that shown where the hare was... on the game board screen after the mother got head popped

Ep1 was the Christmas episode shown in December.
Maybe some news/current event means ep4 isn't available at the moment? The premise was online dating.
I think it's available in iPlayer. The point is that I programmed my PVR, went abroad for five weeks, and it missed episode 4, which suggests it wasn't broadcast, or it was moved and nobody updated the EPG.Maybe some news/current event means ep4 isn't available at the moment?
