Fantastic and if you don't 'get it' you don't really understand the point of Inside No 9.

The whole point is to play with narrative.

Brilliant, the fact the bus episode, which we're all dying to see is all made up, is even more impressive.

Yes they're evil geniuses, but geniuses they are smile

I was genuinely disappointed we didn't have an on the buses, but last nights was a good alternative.

Was the bus one part of the gag ? (I saw it on the EPG earlier in the day) on iPlayer it just plays the Quiz show...

All of the actors could have relaxed a tad, though.
I'm sure the uptightness was intentional.
+1.

I thought that episode was excellent. Very well done

Yes
I caught up on iPlayer tonight. It didn't show the announcer introducing the programme, what was said in the intro, a 'in a change to the scheduled programme' type thing?

I liked it, the quiz format, set, random celebrity presenter etc isn't that far from the real daytime quizzes hehe . I haven't seen the 1% quiz that Lee Mack presents. I think watching the episode a second time I'd pick up on a lot more now that I know the setup.

I saw a post on twitter after I watched it that shown where the hare was... on the game board screen after the mother got head popped

I thought it was very well paced. A slightly rubbish game show, slightly odd contestants, rubbish game show 'jokes', and the weirdness of the Oakwood family slowly getting weirder. A fairly simple idea, but very well done.

I still want to see an 'on the buses' pastiche though! frown

The last few episodes I've not spotted a hare, is it still a thing?

Lonely Hearts Killer: if that had been the very first episode of Inside No 9 it would have been great. But the twist was so obvious that I began to believe it might be a red herring, but it wasn’t. Enjoyable but predictable.

3 x 3: I thought it was great, and properly kept me guessing right to the end. Watched it on iplayer and paused after a few mins to check I was watching the right programme. Didn’t know in advance anything about the On The Buses thing, would love it if they did an episode like that for real.

It had the cheesy daytime quiz show vibe completely nailed. Really loved it.

I enjoyed it and thought the script and acting was good. Didn't really like the end though. A couple of questions though:
1) I watched on iPlayer, when shown live on TV did they have an "In a change to the scheduled programme ......."?
2) I don't get the On the Buses reference. What's that all about?

Actually, just searched on-line to see what else the lead girl actress has been in and found this:

1) Yes and the EPG changed at the same time.

Watched it again this morning and realised that there were subtle little hints all the way through, which I hadn't picked up on the first time round.

Further to the above few posts, my normal routine with Inside No 9 is to watch the show and then immediately afterwards go onto Den of Geek to read what they have to say about it. They usually point out various clever little details that I missed.

I really enjoy the show on my own level, but it’s good for me to read about it from the perspective of someone who really understands all the subtle references. Works for me anyway!

I've never noticed one until last night watching a downloaded episode from the latest series on a flight. Its the kidnap one and it's an ornament on a window cill by the front door in one scene.

Same here - Lee Mack carried it perfectly.

I'd have liked to have gone into it not knowing it was related to No.9 - but obviously the title / name gave it away. But I thought the subtle hints that one of the teams might be a tad ' different' was well paced.

+1. Thought it a great end to the series. Roll on Season 9.
