In some respects, the Space Shuttle reminded me on some levels as Thunderbird 2, with its payload pods (payload doors) and small wings. I loved Thunderbirds!

And Space 1999,

Dr Helena Russell, my introduction to unhealthy lusting after women!!!

Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet were two of my favourite programmes when I was younger. What a shame that all kids get on TV these days is crap like some Rastafarian rodent.

My wife has confirmed that Shado HQ is Holby... but don't tell the Martians! Thunderbirds and UFO were the best things ever, I think my five year old needs to watch them with me wink

SHADO HQ was nothing to do with Holby (in Bristol) - it was Pinewood.
