I've just watched all three series in a week. I'm hooked and cannot wait until Thursday for the finale!
I really don't know who to trust here, I feel a big twist is going to happen involving Dot and either Arnott, Hastings or Kate.
Does anyone know what happened to the Social Worker, Stevens-Lloyd presumably in series 1? Is it correct that he was murdered but no body was found, or have I misunderstood that?I really don't know who to trust here, I feel a big twist is going to happen involving Dot and either Arnott, Hastings or Kate.

There was a body. They exhumed it in order to carry out another, better, post-mortem. The report appears to have been falsified the first time round to hide the fact that he was bumped off.thismonkeyhere said:

That's what I thought - but wasn't there someone looking at him suspiciously just after he signed the gun back in earlier? Maybe the form was taken/altered?
Plus how could he sign out a pool car, drive it out the garage past others/the CCTV when he is no longer in the office. Wouldnt the docks also have CCTV showing the Volvo driving in with two people on one registration then its found with a different one?Amirhussain said:
on iPlayer there is a preview into next weeks final episode, and it's revealed that Steve's Volvo was stolen from outside his house
Convenient
Still. I guess he would then call it in to report it stolen which would give him an alibi and prove he wasnt in the car at the time.
There would still be the issue of the CCTV and evidence of someone other than him having been in the car.
His prints would not be on the burner phone nor the £5. He himself has pointed out the missing forensics that any decent solicitor would have a field day with.
Oh and they 'forgot' to look for the gun when it wasn't handed back and of course there is no cctv covering the weapons store.
There is nothing to link him to being in the car and shooting her.
