Just caught up with this week's episode. As others have said, it just gets better and better doesn't it?

Anyone else picking up a The Shield vibe this season? Not that that's a bad thing in any way.

So who did she email the list to to? Surely the recipient will play a pivotal role in things? Cracking programme has the working tensions often evident in modern policing well covered.

I can't remember exactly but I'm sure there were multiple recipients.

I thought he was dodgy until the handshake thing just made it a bit too obvious - and his prospective squeeze and her advances to him definitely have something of the night so they cant both be corrupt can they?

fking hell what an episode. Looks like someone got more than their convictions quashed...

Can't see Dot being caught in the finale. Reckon Steve will get framed and they will carry it over to the next series.

Who was Denton sending the email to?

I've just watched all three series in a week. I'm hooked and cannot wait until Thursday for the finale!

I really don't know who to trust here, I feel a big twist is going to happen involving Dot and either Arnott, Hastings or Kate.

I checked it, it was only Hastings that come up on the recipients you're right.

Does anyone know what happened to the Social Worker, Stevens-Lloyd presumably in series 1? Is it correct that he was murdered but no body was found, or have I misunderstood that?

There was a body. They exhumed it in order to carry out another, better, post-mortem. The report appears to have been falsified the first time round to hide the fact that he was bumped off.

Thanks, that seems to go with my theory that he may not have been killed, . . . or maybe not! I think that someone's had an identity change, helped by high ranking officials. I may be totally wrong though!

That's what I thought - but wasn't there someone looking at him suspiciously just after he signed the gun back in earlier? Maybe the form was taken/altered?
Plus how could he sign out a pool car, drive it out the garage past others/the CCTV when he is no longer in the office. Wouldnt the docks also have CCTV showing the Volvo driving in with two people on one registration then its found with a different one?
on iPlayer there is a preview into next weeks final episode, and it's revealed that Steve's Volvo was stolen from outside his house

Convenient rolleyes

Still. I guess he would then call it in to report it stolen which would give him an alibi and prove he wasnt in the car at the time.

There would still be the issue of the CCTV and evidence of someone other than him having been in the car.

I know it's TV but really... Forensics would prove he wasn't there.

Indeed, colleagues from his unit investigating it too?

His prints would not be on the burner phone nor the £5. He himself has pointed out the missing forensics that any decent solicitor would have a field day with.

Oh and they 'forgot' to look for the gun when it wasn't handed back and of course there is no cctv covering the weapons store.

There is nothing to link him to being in the car and shooting her.

Shame this last episode is so ridiculous.
